Mike (now Eli)

I  went to my forever loving family in
Iselin, New Jersey!

 November 12th update:
Gloria and Jason,
We love our new puppy! We have renamed him Eli. He was a delight on the 3 1/2 hour ride home. No noises except a few yawns. He is over come by all of our attention. We are tiring him out! Great first night! He retired to his crate after too much attention. Then he howled for about 5 mins when we all finally went to bed. What a blessing for our family!
I can't wait to try and take him on a walk. But everyone is tiring him out so much he is too tired to walk! He has only had one accident. He has gone outside for the most part. He is so calm and he loves being a big lap dog!
Thank you so much. Will keep you posted on how he is doing. I will take him to the vet this week for shots. You obviously helped us have a great start for our new dog!
Thanks so much! I will be in touch! You have a beautiful family! I will send photo updates!

APRIL 12TH UPDATE:

Hi Gloria,

We are so happy with our ever-growing puppy "Eli" who was previously your "Mike."  He is absolutely wonderful!

The whole family adores him.  He goes on one or two very long walks each day, he loves to race around the backyard running laps!  He loves to play fetch and frisbee.  He is quite an excellent athlete!  At 55+ pounds he still thinks he is my lap dog.  He is quite the cuddler but when he stretches out he is taller than me! The vet said he would grow to at least 80 lbs!  Yikes!

He is very good-natured and fits right into our family.  He stays in his crate (without any objections from him) while we are away at work.  He loves to eat socks!  But besides that he has not chewed anything up.  He was house trained very quickly.

As you can tell we love him to bits!
 Jennifer

I went to my wonderful new home in Chesapeake, Virginia! And I get to live with my sister (Janae/Shelby)
November 15th update:

Hi Gloria,
The girls did great on the way home. We made lots of pit stops on the way. And we are very glad we got the two. We eventually named Makayla CJ and they're both such sweet dogs.  They do everything together and keep each other amused for hours.    Potty training has been slow but sure.  I think that's the only problem with having two. They're too busy playing when they go outside but I'm sure we'll get there.
Bruce has been taking lots of pics so I'll have him send you some. Thanks again for our babies! Don't know what we'd do without them now! Take care and hope you and your family is well.

Michelle

Mack

I went home to my wonderful new home in Arlington, Massachusetts

Hello Gloria,
Thank you so much for your note!  I meant to write you last week to say we arrived home safely...but have been busy.   We had a pleasant drive "home" without incident.  Matthias, the kids and I are all just head over heals in love with Mack.  He seemed a bit down for a few days and was quiet, but he is fine, and checked out healthy.  He is so very sweet and has a great disposition, but smart, so I have to keep my eyes on him and our shoes!

We quickly jumped into a routine playing with neighborhood dogs at the off-leash hours after walking the kids to school every morning.  We take lots of walk around the neighborhood and everyone seems to want to stroke his ears.   He has been sleeping from 12-6 this week and he is so clever, that he already goes to the back door when he needs to go out.
I will try to send an updated picture if I can get Mack to sit still long enough to focus the lens ;-)

Best wishes to you all
Christine, Matthias, Helena, Toby, Marta and Mack

APRIL 8TH 2013 UPDATE:
ISN'T HE SOOOO CUTE!!! What a heart breaker!
Here is what the family has to say:

He is just the best dog and we LOVE him!
We just cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with you and our dog.

Take care,
The Ritzkowski family

Update: November 15th

Mack is such a sweet boy and loves to snuggle on our laps.  I am amazed how quickly he learns, too. He even figured out to climb up on top of his cage and jump over the other side to get out of the kitchen!

His pals at the park have been commenting on his long legs lately, so I am eager to see how much he has grown over these last few weeks at the vet appointment scheduled next week.

I am attaching a photo from his first snow and the park we walk across to get to school each morning.

Take care and we'll be in touch soon.  Happy Thanksgiving.
Christine and family

JACOB (now Mery)

I went to my wonderful new home in Woolwhich, New Jersey where I get to  surprise 3 children!

Here I am with my new family!
Hi Gloria!  Thanks so much for checking in on Jacob!  Everyday I have been wanting to reach
out to you to let you know how our new little love is doing.  I have been very busy to say the least!  well we named him Mery and he is doing really great!  He is so cuddly and fun!  The reaction on our girls faces when Marty brought him home was priceless!  He had his first vet appt yesterday and all went well.  He needs to go back in 3 weeks for more shots :(. He did cry his first night but now we take turns laying next to him in his crate in our bedroom.  He gets lots of love!  There are so many children on our street who are also having fun with Mery!   I will send pics in a separate email next!  Thanks so much for giving us a wonderful puppy!
Kind regards, Denise

April 11th 2013 update:

Hello Gloria!  We are doing well and Mery (Jacob) has been a wonderful addition to our family!  He is a BIG playful puppy in many ways and a handful to say the least but we love him very much.  He loves to be in the outdoors even on some of our cold days!  The birds are now out and they are his new friends :)
Take care,
Denise

JAMI (now Lucy)- SOLD

I went home to my wonderful new home in Sterling, Virginia

Hi Gloria,
I will be surprised if you don't have a few inquiries about the remaining puppies.  Lucy is a huge hit all over Virginia!  I am sending a picture of the kids with Lucy, taken last night before Savannah's homecoming dance.  She has enjoyed a visit to the high school, a neighborhood block party with so many children carrying her throughout the night and soccer games with my husband.
Thank you again for everything.
Fondly,
Caron

June 2013 update:

Hi Gloria
I wanted to update you on Mack but I've been very busy, I had a baby at the end of January.  Mack is doing great, he is my dog completely.  I think it has something to do with the fact that I was home with him for 12 weeks after I had the baby.  He and Emmerson, my 3 year old are two peas in a pod.  The picture of him by himself was from the begining of May and the other one was from the middle of April.  He has grown since then.  He has been so good with the baby, he knew from the minute we brought her home that he was supposed to stay away from her.  If I would be holding her and he would go to jump on the couch with me, he would see her and redirect himself and not jump on me.  The pictures are from our campsite that he goes to every weekend.  He's great with other dogs too.
Thanks
Jen

BLAZE (now Gus)

I am with my forever loving family in FLORIDA!

November 15th update
Thanks for sending the link. I enjoyed seeing the pups.
My husband was hospitalized. Before he went into surgery, I helped calm his nerves by showing him pictures of Gus. It was an emergency and we had gus with us. The nurses put him in a patient room and took care of him for us.
He truly is a bright spot for us right now. And Smart! Hasn't soiled his crate once and was potty trained in a week. He is great with other dogs but gets a little scared around the big ones.
Have a few pix of just Gus I will send.
Thanks Gloria!
